The 1801 Vine Street project will be an adaptive reuse of the historic Family Court Building as an approximately 214 room upscale full-service hotel with restaurant, bar, and event space. The redevelopment will utilize historic tax credits and other funding sources to restore the currently unused building to a vibrant hospitality destination.
The 1901 Wood Street project will be a ground up development of a vacant parcel with three distinct buildings arranged around a central public plaza. The development will include (i) an approximately 600-unit residential apartment project (comprised of market rate, affordable and furnished apartment units, as discussed below) (“Apartments”), (ii) an annex building for the Parkway Central Library (“Library”), (iii) the African American Museum of Philadelphia (“AAMP”), and (iv) an underground parking garage with approximately 200 spaces serving the entire development (“Garage”). The project site will be subject to a commercial condominium to allow for the separate ownership of each component of the project.
